Pre K Class

Hello! My name is Kaya and I am new to the Calvary family this fall and I am very excited to bring my experience and knowledge to the cooperative family.

I have been teaching children professionally since 2006 and truly enjoy the moments of discovery that children experience in earnest.  My favorite aspect of cooperative learning is the intimate involvement parents can experience in their child’s education.  It allows for a secure environment in which children can flourish unabashedly; it gives the parents an opportunity to observe their child’s learning methods and preferences; and finally it allows me as the teacher to connect more communicably with parent and child and gives me the freedom to create lessons that are aware and catered. I encourage you to enroll your child and become part of our family, it is absolutely a rewarding adventure.

In the Pre-K class we will be engaging in activities that bring awareness for ideas such as manners and self empowerment. We will also explore science activities that will illustrate simple physics and chemistry, math activities that will bring to light basic addition and subtraction and we will further recognition of numbers, letters and shapes.
